I am sad enough that this has happened, and now I can only hope that what happened this morning in London will not serve as an excuse for any more killing.

There is no way this violence will be answered by peace. Violence is a circle and will not stop till at least one offender of the circle is dead. This will be answered ten fold upon those who committed it. I would love to live in a world where things like this never happened but they do. And I see no way for Blair getting out of this without blood on his hands. I can't say if I agree with that or not. I will not speak for those when the crime was not committed to me. They'll have to figure there anger and need for venngance on their own. Sorry, Jay may we wish for simpler times where things aren't as complicated and decisions are as easy as 2 + 2. I will not hold the decisions made by England in any ill regard, it is theirs to make.

If you answer violence with peace how is that helping the situation? A country can't be weak, but we'll see how the UK answers to this.

I think history would show that violence solves most issues quite nicely. Just ask the Aztecs, Romans, or in an example closer to home, any Native Americans you might run across. It is the obligation of any government to look after the paramount interests of it's citizens. Sometimes, however distasteful, offensive action is necessary against an enemy for the protection of society in general. Nation-States that do not realize this, or are too weak to act effectively do not long endure.
